Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: 3 May 2026

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses DocFlow. It supplements our Terms of Service. Breaching the AUP is a breach of those Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination, removal of content, and notification of law-enforcement authorities where required.

2. Prohibited content

You may not upload, store, generate, capture, or transmit through DocFlow any content that:

  • Is illegal under the law of the United States or any jurisdiction in which the content is created, hosted, or accessed;
  • Sexually exploits or endangers children, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
  • Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, mass violence, or incites violence against specific individuals or groups;
  • Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, exploits, phishing kits, or other harmful code;
  • Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual-property right;
  • Discloses the personal data of others without a lawful basis (doxing);
  • Defames, harasses, threatens, or invades the privacy of any person;
  • Constitutes deceptive practices, fraud, or impersonation of others;
  • Violates export-control or sanctions laws.

3. Prohibited conduct

  • Attempting to access accounts, files, or systems that are not yours;
  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Service except under a documented bug-bounty program;
  • Circumventing rate limits or attempting to disable / interfere with security or authentication features;
  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or extracting the source code of the Service except where permitted by law;
  • Using automated tools (scrapers, bots, headless browsers) to consume the Service in ways that disadvantage other users;
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or wrapping the Service in a competing product without our prior written consent;
  • Capturing websites in a manner that violates the target site's Terms of Service or robots directives.

4. Enforcement

If we believe in good faith that you have violated this AUP, we may, depending on the seriousness of the violation: warn you; remove or quarantine the content; suspend your account; terminate your account; or report the matter to the appropriate authorities. Where required by law (for example, CSAM under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A), we will report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and preserve evidence.

5. Reporting abuse

To report a violation, email [email protected] with as much detail as possible (URL, screenshot, your contact info). Reports are reviewed during business hours and as quickly as possible.

DMCA take-down notices for copyright infringement should be sent to [email protected] and follow the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
